Fraternal relations and cooperation between Turkey and Turkic States, which have deep-rooted historic and cultural roots, have been developing in many spheres including trade and investments, since 1991. On this occasion, for the 30th year anniversary of the independence of Turkic States, we are thrilled to announce the “Turkey-Turkic States Economy and Trade Conference”. In order to comprehend what we have achieved in last 30 years and to determine how we can advance our economic cooperation under the contemporary circumstances, we decided to organize this Conference with participation of the Trade/Economy Ministers, public and private sector representatives and non-governmental organizations of the Turkic States.
In the second decade of 21st century, globalization continues to make the world more integrated and change the nature of trade. However, the pandemic has challenged the new way of doing business. The novel Coronavirus linked global economic fallout that marked 2020, showed the great importance of international cooperation, multilateral responses and global solidarity once again.
Based on the assumption that new instruments for trade, investment and incentives are needed to increase the resilience of the economies, we are planning to organize “Turkey-Turkic States Economy and Trade Conference” on November 2021. This event will provide an open platform for the representatives of public and private sector from all parties, to discuss and to jointly identify steps for scaling up private sector engagement and innovative catalytic Public-Private Partnerships for broad-based, sustainable, inclusive growth and development while building on their respective experiences.
