MEHMET ERDAL EREN

M. Erdal EREN was born in 1951 in Bitlis. After completing his primary and secondary education in Bitlis and high school education in Diyarbakır, pursued his studies at the Middle East Technical University, where he has earned B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering in 1975.
 
M. Erdal Eren started his career as a Project Control Engineer at State Hydraulic Works (DSI) in 1975. In the following years, he assumed site manager, project manager and general manager positions in MNG Holding and general manager position in NUROL Construction.
 
He also assumed responsibilities at the Turkish Contractors Association (TCA) as the Vice President and President during the 2002-2004 and 2004-2011 periods respectively.
 
He served as the Vice President of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) in 2004-2011 period and the President of the Turkish International Contracting Services Council at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey  (TOBB) in the years 2004-2014. He has held the Vice President of the Supreme Advisory Council of TCA during 2011- 2021.
 
He has been a partner and Vice Chairman of Göçay Construction Contracting Co. Inc. since 1996.
 
M. Erdal Eren is elected as the President of TCA on 30 March 2021.
 
He is a member of the Chamber of Civil Engineersand the Vice Chairman of the Bitlis Promotion Foundation (BETAV).
 
He speaks English and married with two children.
