Türkiye-Asia Pacific Business Councils and Thailand Ministry of Foreign Affairs achieved a consensus on establishing DEİK/Türkiye-Thailand Business Council in 2010. Thus, Thailand Ministry of Foreign Affairs decided to put the Thai Chamber of Commerce in charge of the Business Council establishment.
The Agreement about the establishment of DEİK/Türkiye-Thailand Business Council was signed in 2011 during the 1st Business Council Joint Meeting in Istanbul.
The main purpose of the Business Council is to provide a communication platform for both countries’ business world, serve as a cooperation bridge, and increase bilateral trade, economic and investment relations.
