The DEİK/Türkiye-Palestine Business Council was established in 1994 on the basis of an agreement signed with the Palestine Businessmen Association with the purpose of advancing bilateral trade and economic relations. The main topic of the bilateral meetings held to this day was business development in the areas of construction, infrastructure, building materials, food and pharmaceuticals. The Council supports Turkish firms interested in investing in Palestine in their dealings with the authorities and their cooperation with the Counterpart Organisation.
