The DEİK/Türkiye-Kyrgyzstan Business Council was established on 25 December 1991 under the roof of the Eurasia Business Councils. Since its establishment, the Council has organised numerous visits with varying agendas to Kyrgyzstan in order to bring the Turkish and Kyrgyz business communities together. A particular area of interest, supported by the Council, is cooperation projects with third countries in Kyrgyzstan. The Business Council also acts as mediator between the state and the private sector, and for this purpose organises contacts between leaders, politicians and officials of both countries and the business community.
