The main areas of cooperation are banking, the stock market, the environment, shipping, construction, SME, industry and trade, insurance and tourism. The Council organises various events with the purpose of advancing the bilateral ties and encouraging joint projects.
For the near future, the Council plans the organisation of meetings designed to promote sector- and project-based collaborations between representatives of the two countries’ business communities.
The Business Council also organises regional visit in its attempt to widen the basis for economic ties, to include wider sections of society and to progress from the current level of cooperation.
