DEİK/Türkiye-UAE Business Council was established with the Abu-Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry acting as Counterpart Organisations. The United Arab Emirates is an important re-export basis to the Gulf Region, to Iran, the Far East (southern part of India) and South Africa. Their capacity offers new cooperation opportunities for the Turkish business community which the Council seeks to identify and exploit.
