Relations between the Netherlands and Türkiye date back up to 400 years, as a result, DEİK/Türkiye-The Netherlands Business Council was established in 1993 to further strengthen bilateral economic and trade ties between these countries. The determining factors for this decision were: the position of the Netherlands as an important European trading centre, and the Netherlands’ large investment in Türkiye.
The Business Council organizes Business Forums and CEO Meetings in the context of state visits and promotes cooperation in the areas of construction and infrastructure, agriculture, food, livestock farming, new technologies, and live sciences in particular. The Council focuses on best practices to create economic advantages for our country.
