DEIK/Türkiye-Kazakhstan Business Council has been operating within the Eurasian Business Councils since 1991. The main objectives of the Business Council are to contribute to the development of trade and economic relations between Türkiye and Kazakhstan, one of the countries with the most favorable investment and business environment in the Eurasian region, and to work for the Turkish private sector to have a greater presence in Kazakhstan and to take part in strategic projects.
Introducing the investment projects envisaged to be realized within the scope of the Accelerated Industrial Innovative Development State Program implemented in Kazakhstan to the Turkish private sector and supporting our companies showing interest in these projects constitute one of the important working areas of the Business Council. In October 2010, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation was signed between DEIK and the Kazakhstan National Export and Investment Agency (KAZNEX INVEST) under the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this framework, the Business Council and KAZNEX INVEST organize meetings where representatives of the Turkish private sector and officials from the relevant institutions of Kazakhstan come together to discuss investment projects.
