In 2009, DEİK decided to establish DEİK/Türkiye-Kenya Business Council in order to tap into country`s business potential and to help increase the market share of Turkish companies in Kenya. The Council keeps informing Turkish companies about tenders in Kenya and supports them during the bidding process. The Council`s plans for the near future are to support the institutionalisation of its counterpart organisation and to sign a Business Council Agreement as part of this effort; to make visits of delegations in both countries.
