The DEİK/Türkiye-Azerbaijan Business Council was established on 3 November 1991 as part of the Eurasia Business Councils.One of the main aims of the Business Council is to contribute to the development of bilateral trade relations between the two countries, to make it work for Turkish companies to participate in the country's major projects and play an active role in Azerbaijan’s business and investment environment. Due to cultural and geographical proximity, Azerbaijan has been always seen as an important partner. Türkiye-Azerbaijan Business Council, organizes various events to bring together representatives of the Turkish private sector and to promote the main business/investment campaigns of Azerbaijan to them.

Organized by DEİK in collaboration with Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AzPromo) and the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and industry (GCCI), held on a regular basis since 2012, Türkiye-Azerbaijan-Georgia Business Forum (TAG İF), have led to the development of trilateral cooperation in the region. Donations gathered as a result of the campaign conducted by the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Business Council to contribute to the treatment costs of veterans and to support the families of soldiers fall a martyr during Karabakh War II, which took place in 2020 and resulted in the Great Victory of Azerbaijan, have been transferred to the YAŞAT Foundation. 

Other Business Councils
