Turkey – Gabon Business Council, with its President Ersel Topaloğlu, paid a visit to the President of Gabon Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, MP Ali Cumhur Taşkın and the Ambassador of Gabon to Ankara S.E Jean Bernard Avouma in their offices in Ankara. In the meeting where fruitful discussions have been held, potential cooperation areas, problems encountered while doing business with Gabon, and recommendations of the parties have been shared.
In the meeting with Ambassador H.E Jean Bernard Avouma the possible means to enhance cooperation between both countries were brought into focus. The Ambassador has remarked that there were huge opportunities for development in many sectors and that Turkey had a great potential to effectively respond to that demand and encouraged participants to invest in Gabon which he said would lead to a win-win relationship between the two countries.
Turkey – Gabon Business Council organized a business lunch to meet the newly appointed Turkish Ambassador to Libreville H.E Nilüfer Erdem Kaygısız, on 16th of December 2019. She was briefed about the Council's activities and future plans.
