President of the Turkey- Republic of Congo Counterpart Organization and the Board Member of Congo Chamber of Commerce George Mamapou attended a meeting held on November 4, 2019 at River Plaza. He was briefed about the activities of the Council. He suggested organizing a trade mission to Congo in 2020 in order to contribute to the efforts for strengthening the bilateral relations.
Within the framework of his visit to Turkey, President of the Turkey- Republic of Congo Counterpart Organization George Mamapouya, met the Coordinating Chairman of Turkey – Afrika Business Council Tamer Taşkın in İzmir on November 5, 2019. President Taşkın, accompanied him during a visit to Atatürk Industrial Zone and organized one to one meetings with representatives of companies operating in various fields there( textile, automotive, plastic etc.) and took him to tourist centres such as Urla and Çeşme to better demonstrate the location of the city.
