DEİK/Türkiye - Peru Business Council was established in 2012. In February 2016, a business delegation led by the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, paid an official visit to Peru which was the first visit of a Turkish President to this country. On the occasion of the event, during the Peru-Türkiye Business Forum, and in the presence of the two Presidents, the Cámara de Commercio Lima and DEİK signed a Counterpart Organisation Renewal Agreement.
