DEİK/Türkiye-Taiwan Business Council was established in 1993 by the agreement signed between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association (CIECA) in Taipei.
The Business Council organized three joint meetings, one in Taipei and two in Istanbul. The forthcoming Joint Business Council Meeting will be held in Istanbul in May 2013. The primary goal is to promote business relations between the two countries. One of the main purposes of the Business Council is to attract the Taiwanese investors to Türkiye in the upcoming years.
