Türkiye’s foreign trade ties with France are both significant and long-standing. This common history was one of the main reasons for the establishment of the DEİK/Türkiye-France Business Council in 1987 which was followed by a speedy development of the countries’ economic and trade relations.
One important area of the Council’s activities is information of the French public in general and the private sector in particular about Türkiye, it geo-strategic position, its economic dynamism and is qualified and entrepreneurial labour force, with a focus on trade, investments and joint projects in the Counterpart Countries or as joint ventures in third countries.
