The DEİK/Türkiye-Lithuania Business Council was established on 28 June 1993 in Istanbul. Due to its favourable legal framework, its relatively low manufacturing costs and its high export potential, the Baltic country is a very attractive destination for foreign investments. The main areas of cooperation between Lithuania and Türkiye are among others food, telecommunication, metals, textiles and chemicals. The focus of the Council’s activities lies on promoting the Lithuanian market in Türkiye.
