On 7 September 2007, DEİK and the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry signed an agreement on the establishment of the DEİK/Türkiye-Malta Business Council. The Council’s purpose is to advance the trade and industrial cooperation between Türkiye and Malta, to encourage investments, to assess and exploit opportunities for joint ventures in third countries, to identify legal and practical obstacles to trade and joint partnerships, and to lobby for their removal or improvement.
The Council’s current activities are designed to promote Türkiye and the Turkish economy in Malta.
